There’s something disarmingly graceful about young giraffes, slightly awkward in proportion, yet already holding the poise of adulthood. These giraffe twins were captured in the Masai Mara, Kenya, straying not too far from their mother. I followed them through the soft morning haze of the plains, their silhouettes emerging slowly from the distance. They moved together in rhythm, quiet but alert, pausing now and then to scan the landscape. The path ahead of them curved gently, as if carved for this exact moment. I kept a respectful distance, letting the light and their natural pace do the work. It was less about drama and more about the simplicity of presence, how two creatures so large could move with such stillness.
